That night, after taking my child to receive medication and returning to my room in the hospital, I received a call from Vietlott informing me that I had won the prize and asking me to verify my identity documents. I calmly read out my ID number to confirm the information. After the call ended, I went to the Vietlott website and app to check again and was overjoyed to see that I had won. According to regulations, Ms. M. is obliged to pay personal income tax in Kien Giang province, where she registered to participate in the lottery, for a total value of over 2.5 billion VND (10% of the amount exceeding 10 million VND) and will be deducted immediately upon receipt of the prize.
