VIETLOTT SPONSORS TO CONSTRUCTION 34 DAI DOAN KET HOUSES IN HOA BINH PROVINCE

Hoa Binh – On March 9, 2023, Vietlott along with local authorities attended the handover ceremony of 34 great solidarity houses in Muong Chieng commune, Da district North, Hoa Binh province. The spacious new houses will help the families here to reduce some of the difficulties.

Muong Chieng commune is one of the highland communes of Da Bac district, with the percentage of poor and near-poor households accounting for more than 70% of the total households. The people of the commune are mostly Tay, Muong, Kinh and Dao ethnic groups. Each ethnic group has many customs, living habits, and communication languages ​​in different dialects. The economic conditions of the people in the commune are still poor, the housing facilities are temporary cottages, bamboo and corrugated iron, which have been damaged after many years of using.

To help disadvantaged families have a better place to live, Vietlott has supported to build and repair 34 houses with a total amount of up to up to 1 billion. On the morning of March 9, 2023, Vietlott together with local authorities attended the handover ceremony of 34 Dai Doan Ket houses in Muong Chieng commune, Da Bac district, Hoa Binh province.

Tran Duc Truong, Vice Chairman of the UBND of Hoa Binh province, said that in recent years, the settlement of temporary houses for the poor and especially difficult people in Hoa Binh province has made great contributions to the development of the country. The construction of new countryside as well as social security work is very specific, helping people settle down and have a job.

Ms. Ha Thi Hiep, Tay ethnic group in Muong Chieng commune - one of 34 households receiving support said: "In the past, the house was roofed with palm leaves, so in winter the wind was drafty, in the rainy season it leaked. Her husband was sick constantly, the children had no jobs, and the family only had a few acres of fields. Because of the hardship, the family never dreamed of a permanent house. Now, the family receives a great happiness when living in a permanent house, children can rest assured to find a job without having to worry about housing.”

Following the social programs implemented by Vietlott, it is hoped that the 34 spacious, clean and beautiful houses as well as many other programs of Vietlott will be a meaningful gift not only in material both physically and mentally to the disadvantaged people in remote and isolated areas.
