The "Giving Opportunities, Connecting Dreams" program has continued to reach the Ninh Binh Provincial Ethnic Boarding High School, bringing a meaningful scholarship gift to the student Bui Thuy Van.
Bùi Thúy Văn, a 10th-grade student at the Ninh Binh Province Ethnic Minority Boarding High School, has grown up in challenging circumstances, both in terms of family and health. Despite her small stature and frequent medical absences due to a blood disorder that requires periodic treatment in Hanoi, she perseveres in her studies. Coming from a poor family, Thúy Văn's father abandoned them when she was young, leaving her mother to shoulder the responsibilities of both parents while struggling to make ends meet and care for Thúy Văn's health.
My family relies solely on the state-owned cow for our livelihood. Every time Thuý Văn falls seriously ill, my mother has to borrow money from everywhere to cover the expenses. Every penny she earns, she saves for Van to go to the hospital. Understanding my mother's hardships, she help her with light housework whenever she have time. Very simply, the dream of the two of them is to have a real home, even a small one, but no longer have to fear every time there is a heavy storm.

Despite facing many challenges, Thúy Văn has risen to be one of the outstanding students with remarkable academic achievements and commendable studying efforts. Ms. Lê Hoàng Yến, the homeroom teacher of class 10C, shared: “Thúy Văn always does her best, although there are times when she is absent from class for one to two weeks, she always returns and asks her friends about the lessons, copies notes, and inquires with teachers about the knowledge.” It can be seen that, in light of her fervent desire to learn, no difficulty seems able to obstruct her path towards knowledge and her strong will to live.
Thúy Văn always strives to study despite health obstacles.
With the dream of becoming a tour guide, I hope to experience everything in different places and eventually take my mother along, expanding our horizons from our small house at the foot of the mountain to the wide-open world ahead.

Due to a strong desire to learn and hard work, Bui Thuy Van has received a meaningful scholarship from a Vietlott representative. It is hoped that, when given this "opportunity," she will "connect dreams" and inspire her classmates to strive for their studies and achieve the dreams they desire.
The "Trao cơ hội - Nối ước mơ" program awards scholarships to Thuý Văn.
