In 2023, the Vietnam Lottery Company (Vietlott) recorded a revenue of over VND 6,327 billion, awarded prizes worth more than VND 3,462 billion, and contributed over VND 1,728 billion to local budgets. Vietlott continuously strives to develop and bring better opportunities to the community through various activities, such as: enabling the establishment of social sales points (for poor households; extremely difficult households; families of war veterans, invalids, and those who contributed to the revolution; families affected by Agent Orange, etc.); collaborating with the Tam Tai Viet Fund to provide health insurance to lottery distributors nationwide; building schools and solidarity houses; and awarding scholarships to students in difficult circumstances.

Continuous Development Over the Years

Vietlott currently operates nationwide through two distribution channels: terminals and mobile phones. For the terminal distribution channel, Vietlott has a network of over 6,300 terminals. For the mobile phone distribution channel, Vietlott has nearly 2 million accounts. 

In 2023, Vietlott's revenue reached over VND 6,327 billion, contributing more than VND 1,728 billion to local budgets. These contributions include value-added tax (10% rate), special consumption tax (15% rate), personal income tax from prize winners (10% rate on prize amounts exceeding VND 10 million), corporate income tax (20% rate), and remaining profits (including income from financial activities and other income).

 Vietlott awarded prizes for 24.1 million winning tickets worth over VND 3,462 billion, including: more than 4.8 million tickets for matrix-number lotteries (Mega 6/45, Power 6/55); over 830 thousand tickets for sequence-number lotteries (Max 3D/3D+, Max 3D Pro); and a high number of winning tickets for quick-draw lotteries like Keno with over 17.5 million tickets awarded, and Bingo18 with 900 thousand tickets awarded.

Responsibility is one of Vietlott's core values. Therefore, besides fulfilling obligations to the state budget, Vietlott actively engages in activities to bring better opportunities to the community. In 2023, Vietlott launched numerous social sales points for poor households; extremely difficult households; families of war veterans, invalids, and those who contributed to the revolution; families affected by Agent Orange, etc., nationwide. After more than a year of implementation, Vietlott has established over 120 social sales of points nationwide. By enabling socially disadvantaged groups to become sales points, Vietlott has helped these individuals improve their income with safe jobs suitable for their health and circumstances.

Vietlott and prize winners in 2023 contributed over VND 19.5 billion to social welfare. Especially, in celebration of the 80th anniversary of the establishment of the Finance sector and the 6th National Patriotic Emulation Congress of the Finance sector in 2025, Vietlott, in collaboration with the Tam Tai Viet Fund, implemented numerous social welfare programs aimed at encouraging educational development, supporting healthcare, and promoting rural development. Specifically, these programs included: building schools and providing equipment in Tuyen Quang, Nam Dinh, Lang Son, and Ninh Thuan; awarding scholarships to six universities; providing hundreds of health insurance cards to distributors of lottery products; and constructing bridges in the southwestern provinces.

   In 2024, Vietlott will continue to develop with the aim of meeting the healthy entertainment needs of the people: expanding distribution channels; and launching new lottery products. This development also aims to contribute more to the state budget. Moreover, it presents an opportunity for Vietlott to collaborate with the Tam Tai Viet Fund to carry out widespread social welfare activities nationwide.
