Opening for sale in Cao Bang, Vietlott moves to cover all 63 provinces and cities

On November 26, 2020, Vietlott launched business in Cao Bang market, marking the 62nd market in 63 provinces and cities nationwide.

Vietlott always complies with the provisions of the law, including regulations on the implementation of self-selected lottery business. Accordingly, the entire budget revenue from elective lottery business in the area is paid by Vietlott to the Cao Bang province's budget, including: special consumption tax, value-added tax, business income tax business, personal income tax of winners and distribution of after-tax profits (total of nearly 30% of revenue). This revenue is used by the locality for investment and development purposes for the locality, which focuses on the fields of health, education and social welfare, combating climate change and building new rural areas. … 

On November 26, 2020, Vietlott officially opened business in Cao Bang market with nearly 10 points of sale and developed in the near future. In addition to meeting the needs of players, in each locality, Vietlott also contributes to creating jobs for people and social security activities. Right in the first days of doing business in Cao Bang, Vietlott's business system and partners donated nearly 500 million VND to Cao Bang province, including: 04  houses for disadvantaged families in the district. Bao Lam, 200 million VND to the Study Promotion Fund of Cao Bang province, and 01 classroom in Quang Hoa district.

In addition to expanding business markets, moving to be present in all provinces and cities of Vietnam, Vietlott also focuses on developing business in existing markets when continuously expanding its dealer network and point of sale. The company is continuously recruiting more agents in 50 markets across the country.

By the end of November 2020, Vietlott had a total of more than 5,000 points of sale across 62 markets. With the recruitment of new agents, the company hopes to develop more than 700 new sales points to better serve customers as well as boost business efficiency in markets.

Financial statements for the first 6 months of the year showed that revenue reached 2,300 billion dong; pre-tax profit of 124 billion dong, both increased by about 57% over the same period. At the same time, Vietlott has awarded to players nationwide up to nearly 1,300 billion dong, of which 23 players received rewards of Jackpot prizes totaling nearly 600 billion VND, and 700 billion VND are paid to millions of players who won other prizes. The company's management said that currently, Vietlott has completed its 2020 revenue and profit plan of VND 4,038 billion and VND 152 billion, respectively. The amount of taxes and payments to the State budget reached over 925 billion VND.

Despite being heavily affected by the Covid-19 pandemic, Vietlott achieved the above positive results thanks to always actively improving the ecosystem of lottery products according to international standards, meeting the needs of Vietnamese players, including the launch of Keno products from the second half of 2019, as well as maintaining the stability of previous products such as Power 6/55, Mega 6/45, Max 3D and Max 4D.
