She rowed alone to raise four children when her husband suddenly passed away. In 2006, the state helped build a house , but it wasn't long before Mai Thi Bieu (76 years old, Cai Lay town, Tien Giang province) continued to experience a stroke and was bedridden.

In the year of her husband's death, Ms. Bieu had just turned 23. On the morning of the 6th of the Lunar New Year, 1971, she would never forget.

Her husband was surrounded by enemy bullets, but she dared not cry. When his body was completely buried, in the evening, Mrs. Bieu took her four children to the grave, sobbing in the middle of the night.

The house over the years, finally cracked the walls, the corrugated iron was rusted… One day, when it rained heavily, the water leaked through the hole in the face and limbs that Mrs. Bieu could not sit up and take shelter by herself. When the youngest son came home, seeing his mother, he cried.

The next day, he went to ask for some foam to put in the broken corrugated iron, seal the room. But there were half-damaged trees, his father's altar was rotten,... he still didn't know how to deal with it.

Listening to the difficult situation of Mrs. Mai Thi Bieu and wishing to have a shelter from the sun and rain, Vietlott through Cai Lay town (Tien Giang) presented a love house meaning for Mrs. Bieu.

At the age of 76, after nearly a lifetime of struggling, Mrs. Bieu finally had a real home. She is very happy!
