Vietlott (Vietnam Lottery Company) is co-hosting the 2024 Asia Pacific Lottery Association (APLA) Conference in Hanoi from September 02-05, 2024. The conference brings together over 170 delegates from companies in the Lottery industry across the Asia-Pacific region, along with representatives from the World Lottery Association (WLA).

Vietlott has been a member of the Asia Pacific Lottery Association (APLA) since 2014 and became an official member in 2017. As the sole representative from Vietnam, Vietlott has actively participated in APLA’s activities, regularly attending seminars and annual conferences to exchange and learn new knowledge from lottery companies in the region. In 2019, Vietlott successfully co-organized an APLA seminar in Da Nang, and this year, Vietlott is co-hosting the annual conference with APLA for the first time in 2024.

The APLA 2024 Conference in Hanoi, Vietnam on the theme "Artificial Intelligence in the Lottery Industry: A New Frontier." Artificial intelligence (AI) is a trending and global topic, recognized by many governments worldwide as a technological pillar, attracting significant attention and investment. The lottery industry is no exception to this trend.

The event featured 16 speakers from lottery companies such as Singapore Pools, Hong Kong Jockey Club, The Lottery Corporation, and representatives from the Ministry of Finance, the National University of Singapore, Deloitte - Australia, and the World Lottery Association, among others. The speakers and delegates focused on topics such as the impact of AI in the current era, AI applications in business processes, risk management, prevention of illegal gambling, data analysis, and human resource management. All these aim to enhance and deliver exciting experiences for lottery players. This is also what Vietlott is striving for by continuously updating technological development trends, applying, and developing these technologies to create more diverse and attractive lottery products, ready to meet the varied needs of Vietnamese players.
